this kind of video is perfect for a school health blog...I can't wait to see your teams project...district or school blogs. we could collaborate with teachers to have students create videos or slideshows about health issues. I'd love to work with you and the curriculum teams...common core asks students to demonstrate "speaking and listening" skill. this kind of thing would be perfect.
I really was not sure what we would use the ipod for in the health office other than taking pictures or quickly looking something up on the internet when we were not near our computers. But I had an idea after looking at Lynne W.'s video she made of a student. Paula and I could do a video of something we were doing in the health office and post it to our new WCSU NurseShare site.
I wonder too, if e.g.one of the nurses needed help with a procedure - someone who was proficient could make a video and have it available on the nurse blog site - would be great for orienting new nurses to the district and subs as well.
What a good video - let's post it on NurseShare as a resource. I have a good one on the Heimlich Maneuver I'd like to add. It's on the Rumney drive, so I can't do it til I go to school next week. Do you have any other ones you think we should use?
